Eagles Crown New Queen at Homecoming Game
During halftime of the South Cobb Homecoming game, sashes and crowns were awarded to a number of deserving young ladies.
The halftime celebration of the South Cobb Homecoming game was a special time for a number of beautiful young ladies. Each of them was escorted by someone special, ranging from brothers to fathers to grandfathers. All of them were being recognized for their academic, athletic and/or community service achievements. However, there could only be one winning selection in each category.
And the winners were (drum roll...)
Freshman Princess - Meshyal Watkins
Sophomore Princess - Priscilla Medeiros
Junior Princess - Megan Huff
Homecoming Queen - Breanna Costner
The homecoming crowning was performed by Brianna Moses, 2010 Homecoming Queen, who was escorted by South Cobb Principal Ashley Hosey.
Additionally, a check was presented to South Cobb High School for $500 by the Kennesaw Mountain High School "Shop with a Mustang" organization. The organization has raised more than $180,000 since its inception to provide Christmas gifts to underprivelged children in the Cobb community.
Congratulations, again, to all of the Homecoming Princess and Queen candidates and winners.
