South Cobb voters mostly cast their votes in Tuesday's presidential preference primary for Newt Gingrich or President Barack Obama. Additionally, South Cobb voters supported Sunday alcohol sales in both the City of Austell and in unincorporated Cobb. However, in the precincts of Sweetwater 02, Clarkdale 01 and Mableton 02, most residents voted NO to Sunday alcohol sales or the measure passed by only one vote.
