You’ve found South Cobb Patch, and you’re thrilled and surprised to find a complete listing of your business in our directory already.

You want to add photos or let customers know about a special you’re running this week. Maybe, for some crazy reason, there is a mistake or something needs to be updated on the listing.

Well, you can change the listing in any way that you’d like. Yes, you have the power! Claim it!

Here’s how:

1.     First, click on the “Directory” tab on the homepage. It will give you a drop-down menu once you roll over the tab, but simply click the word “Directory.” It’s quicker.

2.     In the search box on the page that now appears, type in the name of your business. (If your business does not appear, then you can create a listing. Go to the bottom of this column for more information.)

3.     Once you’ve found your listing and clicked on it.  Scroll to the bottom and then find you will find this:

“Do you own or manage this business or organization? Claim it.” Click the link to claim your listings.

4.     Fill out the form that pops up. Every field (your name, role at the organization, phone number, why you’re authorized to represent this company) is required. Click “submit claim.”

5.     You’re all done.

For those who need to create a listing for their business or organization:

1.     First you will need to have an actual mailing address.

2.     Click on the “Directory” tab on the homepage. It will give you a drop-down menu once you roll over the tab, but simply click the word “Directory.” It’s quicker.

3.     Scroll to the bottom of the page that now appears.

4.     Click on the green plus-sign that states, “Know a business or place missing from our directory? Add it!”

5.     You can then fill out the form that pops up, and voila! You’re all done. You can now add photos or announcements right to your listing page.

About your listing on South Cobb Patch:

Every time your company is mentioned in South Cobb Patch articles, announcements or events, it can be linked to its directory listing. There all the listings and events will appear. People can also post reviews and ratings of your company as well.
