Austell Woman Dies from Injuries Two Days After Car Crash

Patsy White, 54 of Austell, died on March 28 due to injuries sustained in a March 26 crash in Austell.

Cobb police are investigating a March 26 vehicle crash that left one Austell woman dead.

On March 26, 64-year-old Fayenell Engrisch of Mableton was driving a beige 2003 Dodge Neon northbound on Flint Hill Road in Austell. At the same time, 86-year-old Myrtis Angelette of Austell was driving southbound in a silver 2007 Lincoln Town Car and attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway, according to investigators.

Engrisch's car collided with the right side of the town car, sending her 54-year-old sister, Patsy White of Austell, to Wellstar Cobb Hospital to be treated for injuries. White was riding in the front passenger seat with Engrisch at the time.

White died two days later due to injuries from the crash.

Angelette was cited at the time of the crash with failure to yield while making a left turn.
