Sue Beverly Polk, 81, of Mableton, GA went to heaven on Sunday, August 26, 2012. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012, 11:00 A.M., at First Baptist Church of Mableton. Predeceased by her son Michael S. Williams, she is survived by her husband, Laurence N. Polk, Jr., Daughter Rosalyn W. Smith and son-in-law Dallas C. Smith, Granddaughter Rosalyn-Sue Smith and son-in-law Lt. Marvin Albers (USN), Great-Grandson Coe Polk Winton Smith, and the children of her heart, Pat and Fred Brown. She dedicated her life to selflessly serving others through Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc., Helping Hands, The Cancer Society, and The Covered Bridge Garden Club.
