Residents in Cobb County are invited to participate in a "wireside chat" on June 6 at 7:30pm with Cobb Chairman Tim Lee and Kennesaw Mayor Mark Matthews.  The chat will be an hour-long telephone conversation featuring a brief overview of the upcoming Regional Transportation Referendum.  Like fireside chats from 70 years ago, this discussion will provide information to residents in their homes rather than requiring them to attend meetings in person. Some of the major projects will be discussed, as well as a forum for questions and answers.

Interested participants can register by calling 404-463-3227 or clicking here to provide a phone number where they can be reached.  They will then receive an email reminder with background documents to review several days before the chat.  On the night of the wireside chat, participants will receive a phone call on the number provided.
